What happens to removed tissue?

Enucleated tissue is generally recovered for pathology. The team will explain the process for your case.

Is prostate size the only criterion for HoLEP?

No. Symptoms, urinary flow, residual urine, retention, infections, response to medication, general health, and patient goals are also reviewed.

Should I report blood-thinner medication?

Yes. Bring a complete medication list and do not stop blood thinners on your own. The team will explain how any adjustment should be coordinated safely.
