Controller and contact
UroPanama and Dr. Carlos A. Brugiati's practice administer this website as an information and coordination channel. Privacy, correction, or data requests can be sent to dr.carlosbrugiati@gmail.com.
Data that may be requested
Forms, WhatsApp, and the assistant may request name, phone, email, general reason for consultation, preferred time, whether this is a first visit, and whether studies are available. Medical documents and lab values are not requested from this page.
Purpose and consent
Information is used to respond to requests, prepare a coordination summary, review availability, route the request to the right channel, and coordinate next steps. By submitting information through these channels, the patient authorizes its use for those coordination and contact purposes.
Health data and digital channels
Health information can be sensitive. If a patient shares clinical details through WhatsApp, the digital assistant, or future voice channels, that information is handled only to support coordination, identify warning signs, and facilitate administrative follow-up; it does not replace a medical consultation.
Providers and third parties
Coordination may rely on form, hosting, email, WhatsApp, scheduling, HuliPractice, or other authorized service providers. Only the information needed to respond, coordinate, follow up, or satisfy applicable obligations is shared.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is activated only after an affirmative choice. Measurement is limited to page views and general actions; names, phone numbers, emails, symptoms, assistant text, selected procedures, insurance, and other medical data are not sent. Personalized advertising remains disabled.
Retention and security
Information is retained for the time needed to handle the request, maintain administrative continuity, or meet legal, professional, or operational obligations. Reasonable limited-access, human-review, and safeguarding measures are used; public channels should not be used for emergencies or complete medical records.
Data-subject rights
Patients may request access, correction, update, deletion, or opposition to the use of their data when applicable. Requests are handled manually by writing to dr.carlosbrugiati@gmail.com, subject to medical, legal, or administrative obligations that may require certain information to be retained.
Medical safety
The website, forms, assistant, and future voice summaries do not provide diagnoses, treatment decisions, or medication instructions. If you have acute pain, fever, bleeding, urinary retention, renal colic, chills, or a recent post-operative concern, seek urgent care or contact the team immediately.
The information on this page does not replace a medical consultation. If you have blood in your urine, urinary retention, fever, severe pain, or an elevated PSA, request an evaluation with a urologist.
